Hannah's First Camping Trip

Well, I finally found some time to post pictures from our camping weekend. I knew I was going to need some time because I knew how many pictures I took. Kelsey & Hannah -- Kelsey & Madi are such good helpers with Kyle & Hannah. They are always watching out for them. Kyle & Hannah have so much fun with them. Thank you, girls!

We took a small tent and set it up on the camp site. The kids loved playing in it.

So many of the campsites decorated for the event. It was so much fun going trick-or-treating and seeing all of the decorations. This is my Superman getting ready to Trick-or-Treat a decorated site.

I took several pictures (which I didn't post) of just the decorated camp sites. This one was pretty cool. They actually had a real hearse with some sort of conveyor belt that a coffin came in and out of. When the coffin came out then a monster jumped out of it. It was neat to watch the reactions of the little kids as they watched.

All of our trick-or-treaters.....do you know who the big kid is??

My Superman & Supergirl --- aren't they adorable?

Kyle waiting by the road for Trick-or-Treaters. He wanted to pass candy out so bad after he went Trick-or-Treating. In fact, he was taking candy out of his own bag to pass out to kids. Unfortunately, the Trick-or-Treating time was just about passed. He didn't care....there he sat with his basket of goodies just hoping a Trick-or-Treater would pass by.

What a first camping trip for Hannah! I really hope she doesn't think that all camping trips are like this one!

The next morning Hannah wanted to help clean up. Here she is trying to sweep the leaves off the rug.

Here's all of the kids getting ready to go on the hayride. We had just waited a very long time for this hayride. So, I was real surprised when I got a good picture of all the kids together. Kelsey, Madi, Hannah, Macey, Mitchell & Kyle about to board the hay wagon after the long wait in line.

Kyle roasting a hotdog. Later he enjoyed making S'mores by the campfire.

So, Hannah wanted to take the skeleton for a ride in the stroller. She pushed it over half way around the circle and then didn't want to push any longer. So, here we are finishing our walk.

A Hadi Shrine clown was camped out right down the street from us. He came down dressed in his costume and talked to Kyle & Hannah. He told Kyle that he would come back down later and make some balloons when there wasn't as many kids around. Well, we never saw him again. Kyle kept asking where he was and saying he wanted some balloons. We believe that the clown became a little too intoxicated and forgot all about making balloon animals.

Kyle & Hannah doing what they love to do with Steve....wrestle!

This was just too cute...I had to snap a picture. Here Hannah is riding her 3-wheeler down the road and along comes a little boy about her size pushing a baby stroller. They stopped in the middle of the road to chat.

Haunted Harmonie

This group went camping this weekend at Harmonie State Park. It was Haunted Harmonie weekend and we had so much fun. It was Hannah's first camping trip and she had a blast! She loved it. I was scared that rain was going to ruin our Saturday but it turned out to be a beautiful weekend. Of course, I have lots more pics to share of our fun-filled weekend later (when I get more time).

Pizza & Pumpkins

Usually on Tuesday nights a group of us get together for scrapbooking. Tonight we decided to have a special date night with our kids instead. Brandi had bought all the kids pumpkins, paint and paintbrushes as a party favor for Bailey's birthday. So, we decided we would do pumpkin painting tonight instead. We also had pizza from Greeks and Halloween cookies. It was a fun evening! Keelin, Bailey, Hannah & Kyle all eating their pizza together
Kyle focused on painting his pumpkin just right
Hannah painting her pumpkin - good thing it was washable because she ended up with paint all over her clothes
Bailey working on his pumpkin masterpiece
Keelin painting on her pumpkin - notice the pink is the only color open. Keelin's orange pumpkin turned into a solid pink pumpkin.
All the kids painting pumpkins together - it was so much fun to watch them

Hannah's finished pumpkin
Kyle showing off his finished pumpkin
The kids eating their Halloween cookies. This is another one of those times when I was trying to get all of them to look at me at the same time.....you can see how well that went.

Hannah was so happy to see Baby Macie Lu again
She couldn't wait to hold her
Of course, she had to hold Reagan, too.
Renee with Keelin and Macie

We couldn't believe this happened as well as it did. We laid Macie & Reagan down so we could get a picture of the two of them together. As soon as we did that all of the kids swarmed around the babies. Perfect...all 6 kids in one picture. That doesn't happen too often.
As a blogger & scrapbooker you begin to take more notice of the perfect photo opportunities. This was one of them. Us girls were sitting there talking and we looked up and Kyle was reading a book with Hannah & Keelin. It was so cute. Renee and I both jumped up and said, "Where's our camera." (Notice my children have both stripped out of some article of clothing. I don't know why they do this!)
Another perfect photo moment. Once again, we were talking and Kyle brings the girls to our attention. They were both sitting on the sit-n-spin spinning away. It was too cute!

Exhausted!!

We had such a busy weekend. By 6:00 Sunday evening Kyle and Hannah were crashed. This is what our couch looked like at 6:00 Sunday evening.

Happy Birthday, Bailey!

Today we went to Bailey's 3rd birthday party at the Newburgh Park. All of the kids had such a good time playing together. Happy Birthday, Bailey!
Hannah was so excited to finally get to see Miss Macie Lu.
Macie looked so cute in her Colts dress.
Baby Reagan enjoying her brother's birthday party
Kyle, Hannah, Leland, & Nathan LOVED playing on the merry-go-round.
Hannah & Keelin swinging together
Kyle having fun on the swing
Kyle had a blast with Leland & Nathan. They are both in his preschool class, too. So, it was fun for them to get to play together outside of school. Here Nathan is giving his buddies a push on the swings.
Hannah & Keelin loved the strawberry birthday cake. I took several pictures of the two of them. In every single picture Hannah had her mouth wide open.

The Basement -- Our Ongoing Project

Well, there has been some progress made in our basement. We have slowly been finishing it out when there is time. Ben was on vacation this week, so we now have insulation. It is ready for drywall. The drywall was supposed to be brought down on Saturday, but instead of drywall we ended up with a new water heater. Yes! How exciting, I know. Ben realized on Friday that ours had a hole in it. Of course, the entire thing had to be replaced. So, drywall is on hold for a little while longer. I'll keep you posted on our basement transformation as it happens. I'm not sure what Ben is doing here. He just happened to be standing there when I was snapping pictures.
The doors....just waiting to be hung.
