Halloween Weekends again..

Yesterday the kids and I headed to Holiday World again for Halloween Weekends.  We met Matt, Linda, Madelyn & Allyson and Mick and his two kids.  The guys ended up going back to the camp (they were camping at Lake Rudolph) to put Mick’s son down for a nap.  Linda and I hung out with the four girls and Kyle all day and night.  We ended up closing down the park because we wanted to watch the Laser Show.  It was worth the wait!

Coomes’ Baptism

Today we were blessed to be a part of  the Baptism of my dear friend, Brandi’s children.  Ben and I were also blessed with another God Daughter today, Reagan.  What a beautiful day for this family.  Thank you, Brandi, for entrusting us to be Reagan’s God Parents.  We are truly blessed!

Holiday Halloween Weekends

Today the 4 of us headed to Holiday World for Halloween Weekends.  It was a beautiful day and all was good, except for our attempt at the corn maze.  We got lost.  It was horrible.  I seriously thought we were going to have to find and hold the flag up for someone to come rescue us.  We eventually found our way out, but only through the entrance.  We didn’t find the exit.  On another note, Kyle rode The Voyage for the first time ever and LOVED it!!!  He had been on all of the rollercoasters at Holiday World, except The Voyage.  He loves all of them, too.  He just had a fear of going on The Voyage because of all the hype it gets, I suppose.  He faced his fear, though, and loved it!

Taylor Swift–Red Tour 2013

Friday night was the Taylor show for Hannah and I.  We left school after lunch and headed to Tennessee.  Taylor DID NOT disappoint.  She puts on an AMAZING show and I’ve never in my life seen so many people!  It was crazy!!!  Tonight was definitely a night we’ll always remember.  Hannah’s shirt had a butterfly on it, so I wrote the lyrics to one of Taylor’s songs from her Red CD on her arms.  She also added the number 13 to her hands (Taylor’s favorite number.)

and my weekend was complete because I got to spend time with this sweetieand Kyle’s weekend was complete because he got to go to the Lego Store

Broeker Open ‘13

Today was the Broeker Open Golf Scramble at Huntingburg Country Club.  I’m not sure exactly how many years Ben and I have played in this.  I’d say at least 15 years.  We always have SO much fun playing, but we’ve NEVER won EVER!  That is until this year!  Yep, that’s right, our foursome of Ben, myself, Matt and Kyra came in 1st place this year.  I was so excited!
