Whew! What a busy day it's been. The kids and I went to 10:30 mass this morning. It didn't get over until nearly 12:00 today - (a little long for a 2 year old). The thought of making lunch for everyone when I got home was too much to think about, so we stopped at Subway and brought sandwiches home. After that, it was outside to tackle planting flowers, and cleaning & washing vehicles. Then I came in and cleaned the house some more. I'm really enjoying my time off - my whole house is clean, all of the laundry is done & the major organization has begun!

Hannah helped me plant flowers - please take note of what she is wearing. I had to beg her to put on these old clothes (shorts & a t-shirt).
It wasn't 15 minutes later and she disappeared only to reappear in this dress and her princess shoes. What am I going to do with her?? She refuses to wear anything but a dress and has actually even requested us call her "Princess Hannah."
Kyle gave his Daddy an early Father's Day gift. Kyle had made this for Ben the last week of school. He asked me the day he made it, "How many days until Daddy's Day?" I told him he had a few weeks. He said, "Oh, that's so long, but I can do it. I can wait." He then hid his gift under his seat in the van. He said, "I'm going to hide it here because Daddy will never look here." Today while I was cleaning I found it and read the card. Here's what it said.....I know that it's not Father's Day yet. But it's so hard to wait. So, I'm giving you this present now To make your car smell great! I read Kyle the card and told him he didn't have to wait any longer because of what the card said. He was very excited to get to go ahead and give it to his Daddy. (It was an air freshener he had made out of foam. It was in the shape of a car and was supposed to smell like vanilla, but it had lost it's scent quite a bit).
