I pulled in the driveway tonight, and this is what I saw! Hannah had her fishing pole out, and had made herself a boat. She was fishing in the driveway. Too funny!
Saturday morning (April 20th), Ben and I headed to Marshall, Indiana for our friends’ Bruce and Melissa’s wedding. The wedding was at a small church, and the reception was down the road at the Turkey Run Inn. We stayed the night at the cabins at the Inn. It was a great night of catching up with old and dear friends. The next day, Ben and I just hung out and visited Antique shops in the area. Then, we stopped on the way home to visit Adam & Benicia. It was a nice weekend trip for the two of us. Congratulations, Bruce and Melissa! We’re so happy we could be there to share in your special day.
Not even a week later and I can already tell a BIG difference in Kyle’s teeth!
April 13, 2013
Okay, warning now…..this post contains a lot of pictures!! We had so much fun at the Lego Fest, and I absolutely LOVED watching how excited Kyle was at every corner he took. He was in heaven! I have to say it was pretty amazing seeing all of the things made entirely out of Legos. I still can’t believe that the Lego Expo only makes 7 stops the entire year, and it just happened to be in Louisville the weekend of his birthday!!! What made this day even better for Kyle was that he got to hang out with one of his best buds, Jayden. I knew Jayden was going, but never dreamed we’d run into him, especially as early as we did. We were at the pay booth to pay for our parking, and I looked over at the next booth and there they were in the car right next to us. CRAZY!! So, we got to hang out with them the entire day which made the day even more FUN for us all.
We signed Kyle up to attend a workshop with one of only 7 Lego Master Builders in the world.

While Kyle was in the workshop, Hannah and I went to the Lego Friends section. I do believe she would have played in there all day. She had fun building with all the Lego Friends blocks, and posing with some of the Lego Friends built entirely out of Legos!
Outline of the United States. You could build things to add to it and the workers would add your item where you wanted it. When the Expo was complete, so was the map. They took an aerial photo of it and posted it on their website.
Kyle ran into his friend Leland there, too.
Literally, swimming in LEGOS
Back at the hotel hanging out….they spent the rest of the night swimming in the pool
