Celebrating Renee's 30th
Wednesday was Renee's 30th birthday, so we helped her celebrate by meeting at Roca Bar. We all had a great time. Ben & I tried a new pizza we hadn't had before and it was awesome! I definitely want to go back and order it again. It was called the Piggy pizza if you're interested. It had BBQ sauce, pulled pork, pineapple, onion, banana peppers and provolone cheese. I didnt' have my camera on me, so thanks to Renee for letting me snatch all these pictures from her blog.

Kyle's Game
Game Night
Lastnight we had my parents, Jason, Natalie & Christian over for a Game Night. We fixed tacos for supper and played Smarty Pants on the Wii and Scattegories. Scattegories is one of our favorite games to play when we have Game Night. Now I have to tell a funny story on my Dad:) As many times as we have played this game, for some reason, he can never remember how to play. Once again, we assumed he understood, so we started. Now for all you you that has played Scattegories you know that Round One...Question One is a Boy's Name. Our letter was 'R'. This means that you name a boy's name that begins with the letter R and move onto question 2. When we got ready to reveal our answers......that's when the first big laugh of the evening occurred. My Dad had thought of ELEVEN boy's names that began with R. He just kept going down his list naming boy's names. Then there's always lots of laughs as people try to defend their reasoning of why and how they came up with some answer. Thanks everyone for a fun night!!!
Jason & Natalie brought Rice Krispie treats. Here's Hannah & Christian having a picnic with their treats. The Rice Krispie treats were a hit because they went home with an empty 9x13 pan!

Hannah & Christian wanted to play a game of their own. Here's Aunt Natalie trying to help them get the Connect Four game all set.

Friday night was our Epiphany Party at work. We always get together after Christmas because it seems to work with everyone's schedule much better. I was so happy so many of us were still able to make it on Friday even though we had been out of school for a snow day. Once again, we had our party at Hornville Tavern. Renee's in-laws own this restaurant and are soooo good to us. The food was absolutely delicious!! I definitely hope to make a trip back again very soon!

Snow Day!
Thursday & Friday we had our first snow days and were home from school. The kids couldn't wait to get outside and play in it. It really wasn't much snow. There wasn't enough to really even build a snowman or anything. They still had fun, though.

Chuck E Cheese
Last night we went to Chuck E Cheese for our school fundraiser night. The kids (and myself & Ben) had so much fun! An addition had recently been added onto the restuarant and they have 42 new games. This fundraiser evening is always one of our favorites because the kids have so much fun running around with their friends from school.

A GREAT Ending to our Break
Kyle had a basketball game today and he had lots of fans to cheer him on. Mamaw & Papa Pickerill, Mamaw & Papa Broeker, Mamaw Emilie, Uncle Mark, Uncle Jason, Aunt Natalie & Christian were all there to watch him play. After the game, Jason & Natalie had us all over to their house for chili. It was a great ending to our Christmas Break. Thanks, Jason & Natalie for having us all over. The food, as always, was DELICIOUS!
