Lucas' Baptism

On Memorial Day we celebrated a very special day with a very special little boy.  It was the Baptism day for our nephew & Godson, Lucas.  We celebrated with a 9:00 Mass, and then had brunch at Jason & Natalie's.  It was such a good day.

Hangin' Out

We went to the Kincaid's cook-out again this year for Memorial Day.  We only stayed for a couple of hours because it was so HOT and I only took a total of 2 pictures!  We had some great food, though, and the kids had fun hanging out with Emerson & Avery.   They don't get to see each other very often, but they sure have fun when they do.  I'm hoping we can make a trip up near Chicago where they live sometime in the near future.
I'm going to have to track down each year's Memorial Day picture of these 3.  It'd be fun to compare each year.

Of course, Hannah had to have a picture, too.  Her usual scrunched up nose smile:)

Hannah Graduated

I seriously can't believe that Hannah will be starting kindergarten this Fall.  She has had the BEST preschool experience and I'm just so proud of her and so thankful for her teachers.  We've spent a total of four years with Gabriel's Garden Preschool between Kyle & Hannah, and it's kinda sad to think that the preschool years are over!  The preschoolers put on a very cute program for their graduation.  Hannah had been practicing her songs for nearly a month, so it was so cute to see her perform them with her class.  Unfortunately, Ben had to miss the graduation because he was on his yearly fishing trip out of town.

Field day is always so much fun! Here's a few pics from the day.
The 2nd grade water balloon toss came down to Kyle and I and our partners.  Kyle and his parter won!

Ice Skating

The AR field trip this year was a trip to Swonder for ice skating. This was Kyle and I's first trip ice skating. We had sooo much fun!! I can't believe I waited so long to go ice skating!!  I loved it.  I think I even liked it better than rollerblading.  I blogged my pictures from my phone, so for some reason, they are all out of order.  I had Kyle's stages on the ice documented.  He started off saying, "This is the hardest thing I've ever done!"  as he was hanging on to the side.  He then went to using a bucket and having Mrs. Sills, his teacher, help him.  Eventually, he was skating on his own without holding on to anything and loving it.  He said he can't wait to go back....I can't either!!
