Hadi Shine Circus FUN

Today the kids and I went to the Hadi Shrine Circus with my parents.  It had been several years since we had been to the circus.  This was actually Hannah's first time to the Hadi Shrine Circus.  We took her to the Barnum & Bailey Circus when it was here several years ago, but today was her first Hadi Shrine experience.  The show was three hours long, and while I think that was a little long - it was a great show and we had great seats.  Kyle and Hannah really enjoyed it!

The bears were one of our favorite animal acts.  There's just something amazing about seeing a bear riding a bike

and a motorcycle!!

loved the elephants, too!

Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving at our house again this year. Both sides of our families came (minus Mark, Adam & Benicia).  We had sooo much food!  It was all so delicious and it was so great getting to be with everyone.  It was my nephew, Jaxson's, first Thanksgiving and my niece, Emma's, first Thanksgiving!  That made the day even more special.  I have so much to be thankful for.  I am so blessed!!

First Reconciliation

November 3, 2011 - was Kyle's First Reconciliation.  It was such a special evening for him that he had spent months preparing for.  It was during the evening, so all four of us got to go.  I was very proud of him.
I realized once we got to the church that he had his shirt all buttoned wrong!

Halloween

October 27th - was Hannah's Halloween party at school.  She was so excited to get to go to school wearing her Halloween costume!
Princess Peach

October 30th - We went and did a little trick-or-treating.  We had to go to Uncle Matt's house for something, so the kids got into their costumes to do a little trick-or-treating while we were out.  It turned out that no one was really homes except for Uncle Matt & Kyra and Mamaw Lee Ann.  The kids got plenty of treats there, though.

October 31st - Kyle had a great time at his school Halloween party.  I was able to sneak in for most of it and take some pictures.  After school, we came home and went and did some more trick-or-treating.

I was guinea pig sitting in my classroom for the 4th grade teacher.  Hannah, of course, LOVED it!

We went and visited with our old neighbor, Pete.

We also went to our old house.  They always have it all decorated up for Halloween.  It requires you taking a tour of the entire yard.  I'm always so impressed with what they do.  This year they had a way cool two-way mirror set up.  Hannah was totally freaked out about it!  In fact, when it dropped the candy out, she handed it to me.  She said, "Uhhhh, Mommy here, I dont' want it!"  Even when Scott came out and showed her how it worked she was still VERY unsure about it!  I have to say, I would've been scared of it, too, as a 5 year old!

It started fogging and then would drop the candy out.
Last stop of the night was to the fire house to visit the firemen and firetrucks.

October 28, 2011

October 28, 2011 - Today was Hannah's Preschool Halloween Party.  I was able to snap this picture when I dropped her off.  This is a picture of her with some of her best buddies and it just so happens that every girl in the picture has a Mommy that teaches at our school....WOW!

October 27, 2011

October 27, 2011 - This evening was the Gender Reveal Party - where I finally got to find out whether I was going to get a new nephew or niece.  As always, Natalie had everything decorated so cute!  There were lots of yummy appetizers and soup.  When it came time for the reveal - the suprise was made known by a can on silly string.  Jason and Natalie had taken a pink and blue can to the ultrasound with them.  The technician replaced the pink/blue lid with a yellow lid.  When it first came out, it was hard to tell the color - it came out white but then it was clearly......BLUE!  I'll be getting another sweet nephew in March and I am so, soooo excited!!!!

Yes...Hannah & I were in the group that thought it was a girl!
ITS BLUE!!
