On Friday, June 22nd, the kids went to Jayden's birthday party at Pump-it-Up. Ben and I went and ran a couple of errands and went out to dinner together before heading back to the party. I've never just dropped off the kids at a birthday party and left, but I knew I was leaving them in the hands of several parents I trusted. We were back at the party well before it was over still. Ben and I went and tried out Firehouse Subs. Ben had been wanting to try it out, so we seized the opportunity. It was really good. I recommend it! On Sunday, we headed to Cydney's birthday party. It was at the ice skating rink, and after having my first ice skating experience last month, I was pumped to go again. I was also really excited about Hannah's first time on the ice. She loved it, too. She wasn't scared at all, she went right out. She held the sides, and my hands, and eventually got comfortable enough to try it by herself. I couldn't keep her off the ice! She didn't even want to go in for snack/drink/cake. We can't wait to go again soon.

After the party was over, Kyle, Jackson, Henry, Cydney and Hannah found a spot to watch the hockey team play their game

Cydney didn't stop ice skating to open presents, so Hannah gave her ours before we left.

We got her the necklace she has on in this picture. It had a C charm for Cydney, and a Cougar paw on it.
