We had a great time again this year at the Lake House. We are so blessed that Benicia’s Dad and Step Mom invite us all to go every year. We enjoy tubing, fishing, boating, skiing, swimming and just hanging out. Kyle was excited that he got up on the skis this year and made it completely around the lake without falling.
Today Ben and I played in the Annual Broeker Open Golf Scramble. We didn’t win this year, but we sure did have fun. Our team consisted of Ben and I and Matt and Kyra. Afterwards, we met everyone at the park for a picnic.
I was so blessed to be there to welcome my sweet nephew Elijah to the world. It was such a special time and I’m so thankful I got to be a part of it. I didn’t get home until around 4:00 in the morning and had to get up at 6:00 to go to work. Fortunately, I have an understanding staff/principal and got to leave after lunch to get some rest. We took the kids to meet their newest cousin later that evening. He’s such an adorable and sweet little boy! Welcome to the family Elijah!!
