Mary Kay
Well, I've been quite busy this evening getting myself ready to be in training to be a Mary Kay Consultant. My website is up and running. You can visit it here. I have used most of their products for years now, and just love all of them. I especially love their skin care products. I always bought my products from my friend, Tammy; however, she recently decided to quit selling. She asked if anyone would be interested in taking over for her. It didn't take me very long to say that I'd be interested. After all, I've used their products for years. So, here I go....wish me luck! If you'd like to see a catalog, place an order, host a skin care class, or sample some products, just give me a call.

Friday....Another Fun Day
Friday morning I watched Christian for Jason & Natalie. Him, Kyle and Hannah had so much fun playing together. When he first got there until everyone else woke up, Christian and I watched cartoons together and read books. Christian enjoyed reading Sadie books. It was so cute!
Playing with Sadie

When Christian left, I loaded Kyle & Hannah up and we headed to the movies to meet friends. We watched How to Train Your Dragon in 3D. It was a very cute movie and I'm glad I got to see it in 3D because it definitely added to the effects of the movie. Hannah ended up sitting on my lap most of the time. She kept her 3D glasses off for much of the movie. She didn't say a word the entire movie, but when it was over she turned to me and said, "Mommy, that was just a little scary." I'll admit there were a few parts where I could see why she'd be frightened and there was even a couple of parts where I jumped. Hannah was happy to get to see Hazel and Kyle always enjoys time with his school friends!

Scrapbooking Day
Thursday.....Well, I don't have a single picture to post of this day, but it was a great day! I had friends over to scrapbook for the entire day......no kids, just us girls. I got my Spring Break vacation 2009 scrapbook completed and started Kyle's kindergarten book. Ben took Kyle & Hannah out for the day. I really wished I would've thought to send my camera with him because they had such a FUN day. He took them to the Evansville Museum, Rural King to see the chicks and rabbits, Sears and McDonalds for lunch. They got back just when everyone was leaving, so my Dad, Jason, Natalie and Christian (Mom was already here because she scrapbooked with us). My parents ordered us pizza for dinner and we all finished up the evening enjoying pizza and hanging out. It was a GREAT day!

Enjoying Spring Break
Today I took Kyle & Hannah to the zoo, then to the park for a picnic and to play. We had such a fun time together. Here are a few pics from our day.

Check out this face. This was Hannah at the rhino exhibit. She thought it smelled so bad that she demanded that we go back outside NOW! Kyle and I wanted to see the rhino, after a few more minutes, Hannah had tears. We got her outside so she could breathe again.

A Visit from Mamaw & Papa Broeker
Happy Birthday, Ryan!
Saturday we went to celebrate Ryan's 4th birthday. She had her party at Owensboro Gymnastics. There was so much stuff to do there, and the kids had so much fun! The foam pit was definitely Kyle & Hannah's favorite thing. They also had bars, beams, 3 inflatables, trampolines, mats and a few other things.

A Picnic on the Playground
This past Friday evening we went over to Jason & Natalie's house. Jason grilled salmon and shrimp for all of us. It was delicious! The kids had hot dogs and mac&cheese. They wanted to eat up at the top of the playground equipment, so that's where they had their picnic. It was so nice to be able to have temps warm enough again to sit outside and eat. I look so forward to more of these evenings as it continues to get warmer!

Leland's Birthday
Friday, March 12th we went and helped Leland celebrate his 6th birthday. These four boys had so much fun together, as well as the little ones. I didn't get to take very many pictures because my camera battery died; however, Tina took some good ones. Hopefully, I'll add more when I get them from her. Happy Birthday, Leland!!

Happy Birthday!
March 11, 2010 - As soon as Kyle woke up and got dressed he ran downstairs to make his Daddy breakfast for his birthday. He didn't tell anyone what he was up to. He wanted to surprise his Daddy. Here's Kyle with the breakfast he made for him.
Waffles and Toast with cinnamon sprinkled on top and Trix arranged in the shape of a smiley face. Of course, Ben ate every bite!
Kyle and I stopped at Lic's on the way home from school and suprised Daddy with an IceCream cake. We took him out to dinner the night before his birthday. He honestly wanted to prepare his own birthday dinner because he wanted steak (I don't cook steak). He made steak, chicken, prawns, baked potatoes, green beans and salad. I'd never had prawns before. I thought they were just some extremely large shrimp; however, after googling prawn to find out the spelling I found out they are not the same thing at all. They both are crustaceans with exoskeletons and ten legs; therefore, I assumed they were just big shrimp. Anyway, my personal opinion of prawns is not great. They are rather chewy and large. I'd rather just have some tiny shrimp.
