Craft Day

Last Saturday we went to my parent's house for craft day. Natalie and I had lots of projects we were working on, so we went and joined my Mom for a fun-filled day of our messy projects. The kids joined in with their own craft projects. Here's Hannah painting a Christmas ornament.

Mom & Dad got a tree for the kids to plant. It will be fun watching the tree grow along with them. They enjoyed planting it with Mamaw. Hannah carried the tree out to the planting spot.

of course, they all had to hold it

We'll have to take an annual picture by the tree.
It was right after this picture that Christian reached over and grabbed the tree out of the ground. It was too funny. It was one of those moments that you wished you would have caught it on video!!

Hannah enjoyed coloring Mamaw's floors. Mamaw said it was okay that it would wash off. I really hope she doesn't try this at home, though.

Christian got in on the floor coloring fun, too!

Feeding the Dog

Tonight I made some muffins. Hannah got a hold of some of the muffin cups and decided to use them to feed Sadie. She put several of them out and filled each one with dog food. She then said, "Here you go, Sadie." Sadie who hadn't been touching her dog food at all.....sat there and ate every last bite out of those muffin cups. Ben and I were cracking up at Hannah watching her do this.

Kyle's First Sleep Over

Kyle had his first friend over to spend the night on Friday night. Leland's parents had to go to Indianapolis, so we decided it was a perfect night for Leland to stay over. I had to go to the Chili Cook Off on Friday evening, so I missed most of the boys' evening activities. Ben said they had a lot of fun. When I got home they were both crashed! They were up bright and early on Saturday morning ready to play again! Saturday morning they all gathered all the pillows and blankets from the entire house and made a pit with them.
It was a gorgeous day, so we enjoyed some outdoor fun.

I kept trying to get a picture of Kyle and Leland together and Hannah kept insisting on being in every single picture. She even had tears when I tried to get a picture without her.

I finally got one!

Another Basement Project Complete

Tonight Ben and I worked on another project in the basement and I just love how it turned out! The Before

The After

I love how the wire turned out so I can hang up their art projects.

This is a magnetic board and the colored bins have all of their magnetic letters and numbers in it.

Hannah found a comfy spot to color while we were working

Happy 4th Birthday Bailey

Today we went and helped Bailey celebrate his 4th birthday. I went and picked up Kyle & Hannah at my parent's house. I was so excited to get them back. I know they had a good time, but I sure did miss them! Hannah & Bailey eating their lunch

How sweet...

Kyle & Leland - these two are so silly together!

I thought it was too cute when Hannah sat on Kyle's lap when Bailey was opening his presents.

Happy 1st Birthday Macie

Saturday I went to Macie's 1st Birthday party. The kids were camping and Ben was sleeping from his night of work, so I went all by myself. Macie had a Minnie Mouse themed party and all of the finishing touches were just adorable. The funniest thing was watching Macie eat her cake. She LOVED it!! She even cried when her Mommy finally took it away from her. I believe she would have finished every last bit of it if she could have.
Just look at that face!

Andy's 30th Birthday Party

Friday night we went and celebrated Andy's 30th birthday with him. We all met up at Kipplee's Party House for dinner. The kids were camping with my parents and Ben had to leave early to go to work; therefore, I got persuaded to go out on the town for the evening. It's been a very LONG time since I'd been out!! I had a lot of fun hanging out and dancing with good friends! I didn't have my camera on me because I had forgotten it. Thanks to Natalie for letting me steal these off of her blog! The Birthday Boy

After Kipplees we went and hung out at Jason & Natalie's house for a couple of hours before we went out. It's always a good time when we all get together.

Thanks girls & guys for a FUN night!

Do I Look Pretty?

Hannah came downstairs the other day dressed in this....and said, "Mommy, do I look pretty?"
"Yes, sweetheart, Mommy thinks you are beautiful."

Fall Festival 2009

October 5, 2009 - Monday we headed down to Franklin Street to the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. We had lots of yummy food and had lots of fun riding the rides. Kyle and Hannah had Pronto Pups and frozen chocolate chip cookie dough with chocolate dipping sauce. I had white chicken chili, gripachos and a chocolate covered frozen banana. Ben had a huge tenderloin sandwich.

Of course, the first thing the kids asked me when we got there was, "Where's Steve?" I was relieved to get a phone call from him asking where we were. The kids are always happy to see their buddy, Steve.
