Hannah's First Day of Preschool

WOW! Hannah started her first year of preschool. This was a little sad in a way because she is growing up so fast; however, I was so excited for her because she was so excited! Once again, I feel blessed because Hannah goes to preschool where I teach.
all ready

They were excited they finally get to ride to school together

her and Keelin started playing together right away

I had to ask her five times if I could have a hug bye. She was just too busy.
She was so excited to tell me about her day when I picked her up and to show me her new preschool bag.

Kyle had a first grade home-school connection project to do. He and I had fun working on his Me, Myself, and I poster together.

I seriously can't believe Kyle is in first grade already! He was so excited his first day of school. He was ready to go back and see his friends. I was excited for him, as well. I was also excited for my first day back to school for the 2010-2011 school year. I'm so blessed to also be able to work at the same school. all ready to go

A Fun Filled Weekend

What a great weekend we had! Saturday night we headed to Owensboro with the Vaughts & Wathens (minus Cydney). We went to Moonlite BBQ for dinner. It had been a very long time since I'd been there. The good was great and as always, we had so much fun together! me and my baby girl

Jackson & Kyle

Tina & Mr. Henry

The girls...Velvet, Tina & me

The guys...David, Ben & Dirk

These 3 wanted their picture taken next to the BBQ chef

and Hannah wanted a picture of herself holding his hand
On Sunday we had craft day. It was me, Natalie, Tina and my mom. Natalie and I worked on banners for our upcoming parties. They took us forever, but was well worth the time. They turned out really cute. Tina worked on painting a ceramic plate for a Christmas present and my mom worked on her painting projects. It was a fun, productive day!
Laying our banners out before putting them all together to be sure they looked right.

Natalie and I had two Cricuts going and A LOT of paper!
The finished product coming on Hannah's birthday party post.

Happy 30th Birthday, Josh

We had a GREAT time at my cousin, Josh's surprise 30th birthday party. I didn't take many pictures, in fact, I don't even have one of Josh! Christian with his green, icing-filled face!

Kyle had a great time with his cousin, Malik.

2 + 2 + 2 =6

I snapped this picture of all the kids sitting on the basement steps. I opened the door and there they all sat eating popsicles. Most days you will find 6 children running around our house. Kyle and Hannah, along with the two new neighbor boys and another friend's two boys. That means 5 boys and 1 girl. I never hear any problems, though. Hannah fits right in with all those boys. They are all having a lot of fun playing together. I try and take more pictures of them, but they hate when I get the camera out!!

4-H Fair

We took the kids to the 4-H Fair. One of our friend's daughters shows horses. She had her horse there, so that was the first stop....to meet Misty. After that, it was on to seeing all of the animals, farm machinery and projects.

Fun at Ellis

The day after our date night, we continued our kid-free time and headed to Ellis Park to meet friends. I had never been to Ellis Park before, so I was excited to finally get to go. It was a lot of fun and I came out completely even on my betting. I won some, but didn't win enough to put me over what I spent. It was definitely a good time, though. Me & Tina

The guys....Ben, Dirk and Greg

Date Night

Ben and I also got to enjoy a double-date with some friends one evening, while the kids headed to Tennessee with Mamaw and Papa to visit Uncle Steven and Aunt Kara. We went to Zuki for sushi and then headed to Bar Louie. It was a fun evening out and I can't wait to go back to Zuki. It was the first time I had been and it was so good!!

Fun in the POOL!

The kids have also really enjoyed swimming at their Mamaw & Papa Broeker's house this summer. They recently went and spent the night there and got to swim with Trey and Ty (no pictures because I wasn't there). They always love any time they can play in some water!

Golf Camp

In July Kyle attended 4 days of golf camp. He had a lot of fun and learned a lot. I believe he is going to follow in some of his uncle's footsteps and have a passion for golf, too. Getting some help from Coach

Kyle with Jackson

The last day of camp they got to end their time with a water gun game. I believe it was called the Circle of Doom. It was a nice, refreshing end to the hot day!
