Saying Goodbye....

On Monday we went to Gatti Town for lunch.  We met Cydney & Velvet and Tara & Michael there.  It was a final farewell get together for Tara & Michael.  They are leaving to move back to Mississippi this weekend.  Michael and Kyle have been friends for several years, so it's sad to have to say good-bye.  The good thing is they have family that lives here, so hopefully, we'll still get to visit with them when they come in.  We plan on writing Michael and keeping in touch with his happenings through their family blog.  We'll miss you Hardaway family!!!

Holiday World with Friends

July 19th - We went to Holiday World with my friend Renee and her daughter Keelin.  Renee hadn't been to Holiday World in 6 years and it was Keelin's first trip.   We spent the morning in the amusement park and the afternoon in the waterpark.  It was a PERFECT day!

Entering the park, they all grabbed a map.  Here they are saying, "Okay, where do you guys want to go first?"  It was too funny!!

Weekend with the Family

July 15 - My brother and his family came in this weekend.  On Friday night we went to my parent's house for dinner.  My dad fried fish (and baked some too) and my mom made her famous hushpuppies.  We also had slaw and cheese potatoes.  It was all delicious.  We were happy to get to spend time with everyone.

 The next evening we went to my parent's house again.  This time we grilled burgers and hotdogs.  The idea was to get all the newest baby cousins together because they had yet to meet.  It was great!  I love how the family is multiplying!!  I believe I was able to have a baby in my hands nearly the entire evening:)

Squire Boone Caverns

On Saturday, July 9th we headed to Squire Boone Caverns to meet up with Kyle's Boy Scout Troop.  Mandy and I took the four kids.  Kyle took a Geology class first.  Next, the kids got to do gem mining, dip candles and take the cave tour.  It was an educational and fun day.
