Indy

I just returned from a teacher conference in Indianapolis.  There were 5 of us teachers that went.  We went up Wednesday after school and returned Friday evening.  We learned so, so much and had a great time.  It was a nice teacher get-away.  

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. 

Thursday evening they had a John Angotti concert.  I've heard him several times, and each time I am thoroughly entertained and amazed.  I even bought his latest CD.  If you ever get a chance to listen to him perform....I promise you will not leave disappointed.  

Our hotel was part of Union Station.  Right in front of our hotel room door was train cars.  They are actually rooms you can stay in.  

Dinner at Adobo's.  Our conference would end at 3:30.  We were always starving because the conference sessions didn't even leave time for a lunch break.  It was back to back sessions all day.  We had 15 minute breaks in between our sessions, that only left time to find the next session.  Fortunately, we were able to find some great restaurants afterwards.  

Kyle's FULL Sunday

Kyle's Sunday was super busy!! Our day started with Mass, then Kyle's last football game. After Kyle's football game, Kyle and Hannah put on their Halloween costumes and we headed to Kyle's Cub Scout Halloween party. After the Halloween party at school, the Cub Scouts all headed to Bud's Farm for a hayride. It was a full, fun-filled day for us!! Playing Halloween Bingo

Field Day

Saturday was Kyle's Cub Scout Field Day. It lasted from 12:00 - 5:30. It was a long day for all of us, but we still all had a lot of fun. Kyle's favorite activities were shooting the bow and arrow and shooting the BB guns.

Happy Birthday, Bailey

We went and celebrated Bailey's 5th birthday. He had a costume party. We headed there straight from Kyle's football game. The kids went from cheerleader and football player to cowgirl and ninja. Happy 5th Birthday, Bailey!!

We helped Macie celebrate her 2nd birthday. For an October day, it was awfully HOT! The kids had so much fun, though, at her carnival themed birthday party. Happy Birthday, Macie!!
