Happy Birthday, Howie!

Tonight we went and helped Howie celebrate his birthday. When the storms and rain came right at the start time of the party, we were praying it would stop because after all it was a pool party. After dinner, the pinata, presents and cake the rain finally stopped. The kids were able to go swimming and they had so much fun! Kyle getting spinned before trying to take a swing at the pinata

After what seemed like hundreds of swings

The Birthday Boy blowing out his candles....or trying anyway. They were trick candles.

You can tell by that face how excited he was for his first swim of the summer

Hannah & Mitchell....aren't they sweet!

Field Day

The end of the school year always brings Field Day. This year, Ben was in charge of a game. Hannah got to come hang out at school while Daddy worked his game. The four of us all got to eat lunch together in the cafeteria, also. It was a HOT, but FUN day!
Hannah is always excited to see these two girls

3-legged race

Go...Kyle...Go!!

Ben's game was the Fireman's Relay
You had to fill a mug with water. The mug had holes in the bottom and sides. You then had to run beside your teammates to the end of the line and drop whatever water was left into the bucket. The team with the most water in the bucket at the end was the winner. This game was a favorite this year because it was so, so hot outside. It definitely cooled them down.

Here's Kyle runnng back with his mug to give to the next person

There were two water games. Kyle played these two back to back. As you can see, he got a little WET...
and he LOVED it!!

Baseball Game

Kyle was supposed to have a baseball game Friday night; however, the other team didn't show up. Instead his team played each other. It actually turned out pretty well because they got to play so much. Jason, Natalie, Christian and Mom and Dad came to his game and then we all went out to the Cancun Mexican restaurant afterwards for dinner.

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day was such a busy day. Ben had worked the night before, so he slept most of the day. The kids and I got up and went to church at my Grandma's church. It was so nice because all of her grandkids were able to be there, except two. I believe we took up 3 pews at church. Here we are with Grandma

4 of her 5 great-grandkids

After church we headed to my parents house for lunch. Steven and Kara were also able to be in for Mother's Day, so we enjoyed hanging out with them and eating lunch with everyone.
I LOVE being a MOMMY

The kids made both of their Mamaws these jars for Mother's Day. They came up with all of the reasons why they love them and I wrote them down. We tucked their reasons into this little jar, so they have it as a constant reminder of all the little things that mean so much to Kyle & Hannah.

Mothers & Daughters
After we left my parents' house we headed to Ben's parents' house for dinner. Ben was able to get some rest and meet us there.
Giving Mamaw her gifts

After dinner, Kyle and Hannah went outside and helped their Papa plant tomato plants.

Hannah & Papa found a worm

Kyle and Hanah also helped Papa by getting the water fountain ready for summer.
I had a GREAT Mother's Day and am so blessed to have a wonderful Mom, Mother-in-Law and to be a MOMMY myself!

Happy Birthday, Conner!!!

Yesterday was our Godson, Conner's, 1st birthday! We had such a FUN time helping him celebrate at his Cowboy themed party.

As you can see, he got the hang of what he was supposed to do with his cake!

The kids had so much fun riding the barrel train!
