Celebration with Friends

Tonight (August 31st) we had friends over to hang out and eat dinner.  It turned itself into a celebration of mine and Hannah's birthday since they showed up with gifts and cupcakes.  Hannah and I were both completely spoiled!  I got a gift certificate to Make Time To Create, with the only exception being that everyone gets to go with me when I go.  We're hoping to have an evening scrapbooking/card making event soon!  I can't wait, girls, when we going????  I didn't take many pictures this evening, and I have absolutely NONE of the boys because they were too busy in the basement.

Walker's Baptism

We went to Walker's baptism at the 10:30 Mass, and then went to his celebration lunch at Archie & Clyde's.  I'm so glad we could be a part of Walker's special day.

A Super Fun-Filled Day

Today we went to the park with Jason & Natalie and their boys, and my parents.  We had a picnic lunch and then the kids got to have fun playing on the playground.  After the park, Ben and I took the kids to  a school and let them ride their bikes.  After that, our final stop was the Putt-Putt place in Newburgh to play a round of putt-putt golf.  Every time we pass the putt-putt place in Newburgh, Kyle would want to go.  I had always told him it was shut down (I honestly thought it was because it has a realtor sign in front of it).  Well, I recently found out it was still open.  They are just trying to sell it.  So, after what's probably been a year of him asking - we went!  It was fun, and Ben won a free game for one of his hole in one shots.  I guess we'll be going back. 

Note to self...Hannah needs a new bike. She's outgrown this one!

Burdette & Hangin' with Conner

Today was a great day!  We went to Burdette Park with the Boy Scouts and we took along our little buddy, Conner.  Tammy had somewhere to be, so Conner got to hang out with us for part of the day.  We all had a lot of fun! 

Conner was so sweet. He brought Sadie a bone and some treats.

Broeker Open 2012

August 11th, Ben and I played in the Broeker Open Golf Scramble at the Huntingburg Country Club.  We didn't place first, but we had a great day!  We played with Matt & Kyra.  After the golf scramble, we went to the Huntingburg park where we met up with everyone in the family for dinner.

On the front 9, I hit one of my balls in the lake.  When we came back for the back 9, we saw it.  Kyra fished it out!
