Memorial Day Cook-Out

Today we headed to the Kincaid’s Annual Memorial Day Cook-out.  There was lots of food, entertainment and people.  Ben and I enjoyed catching up with Brian & Valerie.  Every year around this time we discuss getting together sometime, either going to their house in Chicago or meeting somewhere else for a weekend trip.  This summer we are finally going to make that happen.  We are going to meet them in Michigan for an extended weekend trip near the end of July.  I’ve always wanted to go to Michigan. Our annual picture of these three boys.  It’s so much fun watching them grow up with these annual Memorial day pictures!

I think these 4 are gonna have a blast in Michigan together!

Wedding

Today we went to Ben’s cousin Christina’s wedding.  It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun.  We stayed at the reception pretty late because of our dancing queen Hannah.  She continually wanted “just one more song”. 

Hannah lost a tooth at the reception.  That’s sweet because she has to get 4 pulled next week, now she’ll only have to have 3 pulled!   

We also went to visit Ben’s grandma in between the wedding and the reception. 

Favorite Spot

Hannah’s found a new favorite spot in our front yard.  Sitting in the tree.  She takes her writing up there and her books to read.

After field day we had our Bridging Ceremony for Girl Scouts.  Hannah bridged from Daisies to Brownies.  What a long, fun and exhausting day!!

Today was Field Day at school.  It’s always one of the most looked forward to days of the year!

Kyle’s Lincoln Field Trip

I got to go with the 3rd & 4th graders to Lincoln today for their field trip.  It was an absolutely beautiful day and we all had a great time!

Happy 5th Birthday Conner!!!

Today we helped our Godson Conner celebrate his 5th birthday!  He had an adorable tractor themed birthday party.  Tammy never misses a single detail on the birthday parties.  This one wasn’t any exception, complete with tractors, hayrides, barrel rides, apple bobbing, and lots of yummy foods.  We had a great time celebrating with you, Conner.  Happy 5th Birthday!  We LOVE you so much!!
