Indiana State T & T Meet

Today Hannah competed in her 1st State meet for Trampoline & Tumbling.  She had so much fun, even though she was very nervous.  It was a great experience for her!  She did really well for her first time competing in State.  She was a little disappointed in her tumbling scores, because it’s been her best event all season.  Her nerves got the best of her, though, and she had a did one of her cartwheels with the wrong type of step.  She got 6th place in tumbling, 4th place on trampoline and State Champion on the double-mini.  Her double-mini passes totally made up for the mess up on her tumbling pass.  Her team also took home Indiana USAG State Champion for Tumbling Levels 1-7, and 2nd place for both trampoline and double-mini.   I was so very proud of her!  IMG_8984IMG_8986the march inIMG_8995IMG_9008IMG_9010waiting to compete on trampolineIMG_9029gearing up with Coach Tammie for her double-mini pass…she looks a little nervousIMG_9031double-miniIMG_9033

State Meet - Pool Time

Today we headed to Indianapolis for Hannah’s State Meet.  The plan was to go visit the Children’s Museum, but we didn’t leave in enough time.  So, we went to Circle Center for a few hours and then headed to the hotel.  I think all the girls get most excited about pool time!!!  IMG_8930IMG_8934IMG_8941IMG_8961IMG_8966IMG_8967

Easter Celebrations Continued

Easter Sunday we got up and the kids got their Easter baskets and then we headed to Mass.  After church, we came home and changed clothes and headed to Ben’s parents’ house for lunch.  The kids had fun playing outside all afternoon.  They also enjoyed their Easter egg hunt.

Good Friday at Mom & Dad’s

Friday afterschool we headed to Mom & Dad’s house to celebrate Easter.  We had a fish fry and everything was very delicious.  The kids had an egg hunt, and everyone enjoyed getting to hang out.  I especially enjoyed getting to visit with my two nieces whom I don’t get to see nearly enough!!  We also tried to get some group pictures of the kids.  Mom had made all the girls yellow sundresses.  She got the boys all yellow t-shirts for a picture of them all.  It was fun….but I don’t think I ever got a good picture of all of them together.
