Geocaching with the Boy Scouts

Friday evening, August 12th, we headed out to the Grimes House on USI's campus. The Cub Scouts had a Pack get-together. We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, roasted s'mores, went on hikes and did some geocaching. Mr. Smelser (who is also my assistant at school) is an avid geocacher. He came out and taught the boys all about it and then they got to go out and find some that he had hidden for the boys. The kids and I found it very interesting, and would like to try it again sometime. All we need now is one of those high-tech GPS systems to hang around our neck.
